What is Nia?
The Nia Technique is an energizing workout. It offers the cardiovascular benefits of traditional fitness classes, and encourages personal expression nourishing body, mind and soul. Created by Debbie Rosas and Carlos Aya-Rosas, Nia is a barefoot technique blending jazz and modern dance, aerobics, martial arts, yoga and body integration therapies based on the Alexander Technique and the teachings of Moshe Feldenkrais.

Nia Black Belt Teacher and member of Nia's Training Faculty is a dynamic and inspiring intuitive teacher eagerly sharing all she knows. Her Nia practice began in 2003. With over 25 years of movement experience and a Black Belt certification from the Nia Technique, she brings deep enthusiasm and intimacy to her classes. Creating a comfortable, safe space for individuals to find physical, mental and emotional health and healing through movement in her workshops and trainings are not to be missed!
